YTB Trench Releases New Single "F.O.F.G" Off The Back Of Slime Language 2 Release
Young Stoner Life Records signee Y.T.B. Trench releases his new single "F.O.F.G." off his forthcoming project. The song's name, which stands for "Fucc The Opps, Free The Guys," aligns with Trench's lyrical content complemented by his soulful cadence and poetic delivery. When talking about the song, Trench states, "This song is really about a young n***a who got a lot on his mind, and he only has one way to get it off. This song is a vibe song, but it also has its own story. Every song has its own story, and every song has its meaning. You'll be able to tell the story as soon as you listen." The vlog-style music video also has guest appearances from other Y.S.L. members such as Young Thug, Yak Gotti, Lil Keed, and more.
"F.O.F.G." comes off the back of the release of the "Paid The Fine" music video off of the Y.S.L. Records compilation album Slime Language 2, which finds Trench teaming up with Young Thug, Gunna, and Lil Baby. The groundbreaking video went viral after the rappers teamed up to pay the bonds of inmates within Atlanta's Fulton County Jail, a facility that recently attracted local media attention for its extensive overcrowding with over 2900 incarcerated individuals, more than 400 people over maximum capacity. Also housed on the album is a remix to Trench's song "My City" and the "Mob Ties."
